Success is not a goal! How we set “honest” climate targets!
R+H Autologistik GmbH & Co. KG is aware of its ecological responsibility and actions. We see it as our task and contribution to preserve an intact and sustainable environment for future generations.
Goals must have a “why” and match the effort. For this reason, we set ourselves goals that we can achieve as realistically – the ratio of “expenditure to costs and benefits” must be right. Based on our calculated CO2 footprint of our vehicle transports, we have set ourselves the goal of reducing 25% of the greenhouse gases we generate by 2025. At the same time, we finance climate protection projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and thus make a measurable impact.
By using our 100% Euro 6 vehicles, using GPS and AI-supported software that allows us to find the most efficient route with few empty runs and avoiding unnecessary detours, taking into account many factors.
This means that we are already able to reduce some of the climate-damaging CO2 emissions caused by vehicle transport. But not only in transport, but also in our administration, workshop and branches, we make our contribution to reducing unnecessary CO2 emissions.
A complete avoidance of climate-damaging emissions in our industry is neither financially nor technically possible. Therefore, we are already taking responsibility by conducting climate protection projects in the amount of the calculated emissions.
You, as our customer and partner, can also take responsibility by financing selected climate protection projects for the greenhouse gas emissions generated by your orders. In doing so, you will contribute to global efforts to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement.

For each offer, we use a CO2 calculator to calculate the emissions caused by your transport (CO2e WTW) and calculate the costs for the climate protection contribution. We show this in the offer as a separate option “Climate protection contribution to avoid CO2”. If you decide to finance climate protection projects based on the calculated CO2 footprint, we will purchase high-quality CO2 Gold Standard certificates from our partner myclimate for our selected project “Clean drinking water for Schools and households in Uganda (myclimate.de)” or alternatively in our reforestation projects with our partner Blue Planet Certificate.
